Omni is a ride-booking platform that connects riders with independent, permitted drivers. Here's who we are, what we're building, and why.

Booking a ride should be easy. Too often, it isn't.
You open an app and the price has changed. You get in a car and don't know much about who's driving. And the people behind the wheel give up a big share of every fare to an app they have no say in. We think it can be simpler than that.
What Omni is
Omni is a ride-booking platform. We connect riders with independent drivers who hold their own transportation permits. You book in the app, see what the trip will cost before you confirm, and ride with a driver who is licensed to carry passengers in their own right.
We're a technology company, not a carrier. We don't own vehicles and we don't employ drivers. Each driver runs their own business under their own permit and insurance. Our job is to build good software that brings the two sides together.
What we believe
Three ideas guide everything we build.
Who we are
We're building for people who drive for a living and for the riders who count on them. Local transportation works best when drivers are respected and riders know what to expect.
Where we are today
We're getting ready to launch, and we're starting with drivers so there's someone ready when the first rides are booked. This is just the beginning.
If you'd like to be part of it from the start, you can download the Omni app or apply to drive.
