1. Introduction

These Driver Responsibility Terms outline the professional and legal obligations of drivers operating under OMNI Premium Services. Drivers agree to comply with California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) regulations, TCP licensing requirements, and ADA standards while providing scheduled ride services.

2. Compliance with Scheduled Rides

  • Drivers must accept and complete all scheduled rides on time.
  • OMNI does not operate on-demand ride services, and drivers must adhere to ride schedules.
  • Failure to meet scheduled commitments may result in penalties or suspension from the platform.

3. Professionalism & Conduct

All OMNI drivers must:

  • Maintain a polite, professional, and respectful demeanor at all times.
  • Wear business-casual or uniformed attire appropriate for premium services.
  • Avoid personal conversations or discussions on politics, religion, or other sensitive topics.
  • Never solicit or request gratuities from passengers.

4. Vehicle Standards & Maintenance

  • Vehicles must meet TCP licensing and CPUC inspection standards.
  • Drivers must ensure that their vehicle is:
    • Clean and well-maintained.
    • Equipped with necessary safety features.
    • In compliance with state and local regulations.

5. Compliance with Laws & Policies

Drivers must:

  • Hold a valid TCP license and commercial insurance as required under California Public Utilities Code §5351.
  • Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations, including seatbelt requirements.
  • Refrain from distracted driving, including texting or using mobile devices while operating a vehicle.

6. Data Privacy & Confidentiality

  • Drivers must not share or misuse passenger information collected through OMNI.
  • All ride details remain confidential in compliance with California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and OMNI’s Privacy Policy.

7. Zero-Tolerance Policy

OMNI enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding:

  • Alcohol and drug use while driving.
  • Harassment, discrimination, or unprofessional conduct.
  • Fraudulent activities such as fare manipulation or unauthorized ride cancellations.

8. Suspension & Penalties

Violations of these Driver Responsibility Terms may result in:

  • Temporary suspension from the OMNI platform.
  • Permanent termination of driver access for repeated offenses.
  • Legal action if state or federal laws are violated.

9. Driver Support & Assistance

Drivers may contact OMNI Driver Support for:

  • Assistance with ride scheduling issues.
  • Reporting passenger misconduct or safety concerns.
  • Clarifications on regulatory compliance.
