Safety Measures Across Our Platform
Effective Date: 02/10/2025
Last Updated: 11/28/2025
Your safety and privacy matter. OMNI is not a transportation carrier or taxi company. OMNI is a technology and marketing platform that helps Riders pre-schedule trips and, where available, request on-demand rides from independent Third-Party Providers. All transportation services are provided solely by these independent Third-Party Providers, not by OMNI.
This page describes how OMNI protects the security of your information and supports safe use of the Platform.
1. SECURITY BY DESIGN
OMNI’s systems are designed with security and privacy considerations from the outset, including:
Encryption: Data communicated between your device and our servers typically uses TLS/SSL.
Access Controls: Role-based access controls for internal systems; only authorized personnel may access sensitive data for limited purposes.
System Hardening: Regular updates, patching, and configuration reviews to reduce vulnerabilities.
Monitoring: Logging, alerting, and monitoring for unusual activity to detect potential threats.
2. INFRASTRUCTURE & DATA STORAGE
OMNI hosts its systems in secure data centers with industry-standard physical and environmental safeguards.
Infrastructure providers may hold certifications such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001.
Data is stored primarily in the United States and managed in accordance with applicable law and the OMNI Privacy Policy.
3. PROTECTING USERS ON THE PLATFORM
While transportation services are provided directly by independent Drivers, OMNI takes steps to support safety and accountability, such as:
Account Verification: Drivers and Riders must provide valid information and may be subject to verification checks (for Drivers, this may include background checks where permitted by law).
Trip Records: Basic trip details (e.g., time, route, pickup and drop-off locations) may be logged and retained to help investigate incidents and resolve disputes.
Privacy Protections: OMNI may use masked phone numbers or in-app messaging so Riders and Drivers do not need to share personal contact details directly.
Support Tools: Riders and Drivers can use in-app or web-based support channels to report concerns, suspicious behavior, or safety incidents.
4. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
You can help keep your account and data secure by:
Using a strong, unique password and not sharing it with others.
Keeping your device and operating system updated.
Being careful when using public Wi-Fi; avoid using the Platform on untrusted networks when possible.
Immediately reporting suspicious account activity or unauthorized access to support@rideomni.com.
5. RESPONSIBLE DISCLOSURE
Security researchers and users play an important role in protecting OMNI’s ecosystem. If you discover a potential security vulnerability:
Please email admin@rideomni.com with a detailed description.
Avoid taking actions that could harm users, disrupt services, or expose data beyond what is necessary to demonstrate the issue.
Do not publicly disclose details until OMNI has had a reasonable opportunity to investigate and address the issue.
OMNI appreciates responsible disclosures and may acknowledge contributions where appropriate.
6. INCIDENT RESPONSE
If OMNI discovers or is informed of a security incident involving your personal information:
We will investigate promptly, taking steps to contain and remediate the issue.
Where required by law, we will notify affected users and/or regulators within required timeframes.
We may recommend actions such as password resets or enabling additional security features.
7. QUESTIONS & CONTACT
