HOW IT WORKS

Why Omni is the better way to drive.

1. Start Your Application in the Omni Driver App

Download the Omni Driver App (iOS or Android) to start your application. Upload your license, a clear front-facing photo, and vehicle details. You’ll see “Waiting for Activation.” Then complete the onboarding form and submit all required documents. Once received, your status updates to “Activation on Hold” while we review everything.

2. Documents Upload & Verification

Upload your required documents to continue activation. Omni needs your driver’s license, vehicle registration, commercial insurance, background check PDF, and a vehicle inspection less than 12 months old. Make sure all files are clear and readable. Your account will remain on “Activation on Hold” until everything is reviewed and approved.

3. Background Check

Omni accepts background checks from other platforms (Uber, Lyft, etc.) as long as they are full PDFs, less than 12 months old, and show a Passed/Eligible status. If the document cannot be verified or doesn’t meet our standards, you’ll be asked to complete a new screening through Yardstik for a one-time $22 fee.

4. Vehicle Requirements Review

Our team will verify that your vehicle meets Omni’s service standards (Omni X, Omni XL, or Premium categories). We review vehicle age, condition, cleanliness, and matching inspection documents before activation.

5. Profile Review & Approval

Once all documents are submitted, your account will be marked as “Activation on Hold” while we review everything. If any document is missing, unclear, or needs correction, we’ll notify you in the app or by text. No interviews, calls, or meetings are required — everything is handled online.

2. Get Familiar with the App

Watch a short overview video that explains how Omni’s scheduled ride model works, how drivers get paid, and what to expect. You’ll also learn about Omni X, Omni XL, and our premium service categories.

7. Open the Omni Driver App & Start Driving

After approval, open the Omni Driver App, log in, set your payouts, select the services you prefer and start accepting scheduled ride requests. Congratulations — you’re now an official Omni driver.

Requirements to Drive or Become a Driver

These requirements apply to independent drivers who want to use the Omni platform. Drivers remain responsible for maintaining compliance, insurance, and operational standards as required by law.

Can I drive part-time?

Absolutely.

Is there a commission?

Yes — a simple 12% per completed trip.

Can I use Omni for free?

Yes! Every new driver gets a 7-day free trial to complete onboarding and get started — no subscription fees during that time. After your trial, your plan will renew automatically based on your selected tier: Starter $25 | Pro $50 | Elite $99 per month. Your free trial begins once your account is activated, giving you time to finish setup and prepare to drive.

Is Omni on-demand?

Omni is primarily a pre-scheduled ride service. Our main service allows riders to book airport, hotel, and city rides in advance. Drivers keep 88% of every fare, and Omni receives a 12% service fee. However, Omni does offer limited on-demand rides through OMNI Rush. OMNI Rush activates only during peak surge hours when Uber and Lyft are surging. During OMNI Rush: Drivers keep 82% of the fare Omni receives an 18% service fee Available only during specific high-demand windows: Sun–Thu: 6–9 AM & 4–7 PM Fri–Sat: 7–11 PM Outside these windows, Omni operates entirely on a pre-scheduled basis.

How does payment work?

Riders pay you directly via Stripe. Funds go straight from the rider to you. OMNI never processes or holds driver earnings. (Stripe’s standard processing fee applies.)

Yes. OMNI now uses a simple, transparent 12% commission on each completed trip. Drivers keep 88% of every fare, with no subscriptions, no hidden fees, and no surge pricing. This commission supports the technology, support services, and payment processing that keep the platform running. The structure is predictable, fair, and designed for a sustainable scheduled-only service model.

What is the Lead-Based Plan?

It’s a pay-as-you-go option for drivers. Instead of a monthly subscription, you pay a flat $2 per completed trip to Omni. No contracts, no percentages.

What kind of support is available?

Our team supports you with platform-related needs such as subscriptions, app features, or documents. Trip-related matters (e.g., vehicle, passenger experience) remain your responsibility as an independent driver.
