That’s why we created Circles — Omni’s new ride option built with women and nonbinary people in mind. A safer choice, without sacrificing fairness.

The Why:
Too often, rideshare leaves women and nonbinary riders feeling uncomfortable — and drivers feeling underpaid and unsupported. The other rideshare apps rolled out their own versions of this idea, but many drivers quickly discovered their pay was lower or tied to inconsistent algorithms.

Omni is different. With Circles, pay is fair and consistent. No special discount pricing. No algorithm tricks. Just the same transparent earnings model that applies across Omni.

Driver Requirements for Circles
To make Circles safe and reliable, we require drivers to meet additional steps before being approved:

1. Identify as Woman or Nonbinary — only women and nonbinary drivers are eligible to opt in.

2. Complete Background Check — all Circles drivers must pass Omni’s background screening.

3. Vehicle Inspection — car must pass a safety inspection through Omni or a partner facility.

4. Verified Profile — drivers must upload a profile photo and government-issued ID that matches their identity.

5. Circles Training — a short onboarding session covering community guidelines, rider respect, and safety expectations.

These requirements ensure Circles is more than a button in the app — it’s a safe, trusted community for both riders and drivers.

🚨 Very Important Note for Drivers
Circles is an independent service category.

• Drivers who join Circles will receive requests for Circles, Omni X, and Omni XS only — even if their vehicle qualifies for higher categories such as SUV, Comfort, Electric, Black, or Black XL.

• It’s always up to the driver which services they want to be available for. You can opt in or opt out of any category by toggling it off in the app Services at any time.

• Omni will never force drivers into categories they don’t want or constantly change rules for company benefit — a major issue with other rideshare companies.

Circles is about respect and choice. We believe drivers should always be in control.

How Circles Works:

• Riders can choose to be matched only with women and nonbinary drivers.

• Drivers can choose to accept Circles rides only.

• Every trip includes Omni’s built-in safety tools: live location sharing, SOS button, and transparent pricing.

Who can use Circles?
Any rider can request a Circles ride. Only women and nonbinary drivers can drive in Circles.

Does Circles cost more?
No. Riders pay the same fair rates, and drivers earn the same consistent pay.

What are the requirements to drive Circles?
Identify as woman or nonbinary, pass a background check, complete a vehicle inspection, verify your ID, and finish Circles onboarding.

Do Circles drivers earn less?
Never. Unlike other platforms, Omni guarantees the same pay across all rides.

Where is Circles available?
Circles launches first in the San Francisco Bay Area, with more cities coming soon.

What if I don’t want Circles?
You can still request or drive regular Omni rides anytime.
